A complete solution
The creation of a form is executed through a spreadsheet which specifies the different screens in the form, the types of data and the validation rules.
The form creation is therefore:
- Intuitive: Using a spradsheet gives the users a tool they are used to use to define their needs;
- Complete : Equipped with a rich inference engine all different types of validations can be created: multi fields and multi screens with computations and variables;
- Rich: The creation and definition of new data types facilitates data input.
- User and access rights management;
- Input and validation of forms;
- And the complete workflow.
The user is guided through the input in the spreadsheet with smart messages in order to validate the data.
Once the data is in the spradsheet, it can be used directly or exported in another application for specific data manupilation (SQL Databases, other applications...).
A recognized solution
Our iScrib approach is derived from a specific project developed for the French Minsitry of Culture. Since 2005 users from 4500 public libraries execute their annual reporting based on the iScrib solution. The initial reporting form defined by the Ministry for the libraries is very complex and undergoes multiple changes ever year. Based the success of this tool for the public libraries the Ministry has decided to use iScrib for data collection and reporting within their Arts departments extending this to all music, dance and art schools (Pelleas application).
